Festival to include COCAA food drive

People attending the Downtown Stillwater Halloween Festival will have a chance to give treats in addition to getting them.
The festival will include a food drive for Central Oklahoma Community Action Agency.
“We are delighted to be partnering with the city of Stillwater,” Clara Lewis said. She is the COCAA faith-based development coordinator.
Anyone who brings a non-perishable food item will get a button good for discounts Oct. 28 to Nov. 6 at participating downtown businesses.
Lewis said COCAA has seen an increase in people asking for food baskets.
“Obviously, there’s a huge need for hungry people in the community,” she said.
